Cooking Bacon on my Athlon 1600+
Enjoy! An 11 year old mobo and cpu put to excellent use! Shame the CPU died. We were going to volt mod it so it would cook even faster! And then volt mod it enough to blow up  If anyone has any ancient procs they want to donate, let me know, i will pay shipping! My new hob  Don't need this!  Dusty old fan  Health and safety nightmare!  I think this board has some pci slots.  Maple cure back bacon. Only the best for our athlon!  After the CPU died. Grease everywhere lmao.  Nice and crispy!  There is some discolouring under the components, i think fan may have gotten inside the board and that is what killed it. If anyone has anything else they want me to stick on a processor, let me know and i will try and source some old CPUs!

I bet you that oil from the bacon is what killed it. If you could find a way to keep the bacon/oil only on top of the CPU and not the surrounding area, you might get a more through cook.

why didn't you place some sort of metal plate like copper or something its cheap 1.00$.
I did this with eggs and p4. but saved the cpu.

You should have made a bowl out of aluminum foil, and stuck it to the processor with some thermal paste, then the grease wouldn't have killed it.
