Hmmm, dont know. I will probably get a c3 stepping Phenom 2 to go with my AM2+ stuff I have left over from my AMD build, but at the moment I am happy with my i5 750

I might, but I want to see benchmarks first. It does sound promising, and I hope there will be a model clocked at 3Ghz at stock speed.

The DT version will be DDR2/DDR3 compatible. Good move on AMD's part actually. Think of how many upgradable lower end servers with Dual or Quads are out there that already have a ton of DDR2 RAM in them.

They've done a much better job than Intel has with motherboard backwards compatibility. I salute them!

Just one of the reasons why i love my amd'z

I will probably wait a bit before i go with Thuban...if the pricing and clock range is nice though i may just end up dumping whats in my main rig and get in on the action

I can't wait to see what all of these new C3's are going to do...my 945ES is soooo getting replaced

Totally depends on their overclocking potential. If they went to 3.7 I most likely would get one.

I'd imagine it's around 250-300 dollars.
