Question Anyone planning to get Thuban (Native Hex-Core) CPU?

I sure am!
I wonder when we will see native Oct-Core CPUs. Q4 2010?

If they come with a decent stock clock I'll probably get one, but chances are for AMD to keep the TDP down they'll be pretty low.

As much as I want to say I want one because of overclocking..I must say the prime reason why I want one , depending on benchmarks, would be because of cutting down the time to have a quality video encode.

lol @ 2 votes for cookies.

Anyway...

I think my next build for my parents will be AMD, and if Thuban prices are low enough, I will pick that up. I still love AMD's promise to backwards-compatibility. Thats definitely one thing AMD has on intel.
