I would says the same with your current overclock.
Edit: Once you overclock the 5200X2 should hit 3-3.2Ghz but even so its not a big just. Get a lest a 7750X2

TBH switching to an Athlon X2 from your Opteron... I dunno if it'd really be worth it. Can you get a snap of your CPU-Z so we can look? Particularly the CPU and mobo datascreens.

Honestly, the difference is minimal at best and it's mostly due to the fact that you're using faster memory as well. Personally, if you've going to do a CPU upgrade, make the move to a new Athlon II X2 processor. Then you'll actually have a very noticeable difference in processing power.

yeah i know it a 939 whick mean i have to get a new mobo 2, and ram, i jusr want do this rig cheap, but better.

I see, so what's your budget? It would really make more sense to just skip DDR2 and AM2/AM2+ and go DDR3 and AM3. It wouldn't be that much more and would be a more noticeable upgrade. An Athlon II 240 AM3 CPU goes for only $60. I wouldn't recommend getting old tech like the X2 5200+. Wouldn't be much of an upgrade from your current system.
