I read briefly the steps on how to unlock it in my mobo. (ASUS, nForce chipset) It uses NCC not ACC, I simply set to "all cores" kept voltage at auto and wham booted up just fine! Stable thus far, about to SuperPi it. Here are screenshots.

Can you set the vcore to 1.35v and see if it still runs stable? Did you get the CPU with the intentions of unlocking, or was it just a shot in the dark? I havent seen too many of the newer cores unlocking like the older ones were. Nicely done!

I knew it was possible but it wasn't something that made or broke my purchase. I just figured I may as well give it a shot, and voila! For some reason though I can't get any temperature readings on any programs for the CPU. Speedfan and CoreTemp are a no go, and I'm hesitant to Superpi it with the voltage that high and not temperature monitor.

Just set the vid to 1.350, good thus far however still no temp readings for CPU.

You could try locking the cores and just seeing what temps you get as a dual core with 1.45v vcore (I'm assuming unlocking the cores is confusing the temp program). Tht will at least give you s ballpark idea on temps. of course a quad core generates more heat, but at least you will have somewhat of an idea of how effective your cooling is.

I'm not at my house right now, but I forgot to turn off my computer while it is still running Prime95, so I hope my house isn't on fire or something. (It's been running for like 26 hours.. Lol.)It said I ran at 48c max though.

Yeah, i think pretty much everyone does after unlocking... I think you can figure out which temps are the ones for the cpu (won't do per core). But one of the generically labelled Temps should be for the cpu. What i did was reboot real quick and check the temp in the bios and the let it come back up to windows and then compare and see which one was closest....
