Default Upgrading my AMD PC|$500 budget|HELP!

I currently have a Dell Dimension C521 (I did not choose this computer, i got it for x-mas last year) here is the link to the page on dell.com
http://support.dell.com/support/topi...=19&l=en&s=dhs
Here is a picture
http://regmedia.co.uk/2006/09/14/dell_c521_1.jpg
also
http://pc.watch.impress.co.jp/docs/2...12/dell_07.jpg
Yes I know this computer is very cramped and small, I have already had to take a hack saw to the case in order to fit my 7300 GT OC into it.

Specs:
7300 GT OC
AMD 3800+ 64 X2 (AM2 Socket Mother Board)
1 gig of DDR2 SDRAM (2x 512mb)
160 Gig S-ATA Hard Drive

Now, I'm having multiple problems with this PC:
1. The power supply that is in it is only 280W.
2. The power supply is specially made for this case, meaning i have to get a new case.
3. I'm not sure if the mother board in this PC can use regular DDR2 Ram
4. Not sure if the mother board will fit any other case.

What I'm thinking that I'm gonna do is take the mother board out of my current case and put it into the case in the link below.
http://www.tigerdirect.com/applicati...839&CatId=1842
along with this PSU
http://www.tigerdirect.com/applicati...2&sku=GEN-2004

Also I need a new graphics card this is what I've found for the price
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814143118

And more ram
http://www.tigerdirect.com/applicati...3&sku=C19-4238
I think the ram has to be a certain kind of DDR2

Junk the case and motherboard, and get a new PSU.

Before you do anything (else):
read your manual
http://support.dell.com/support/edoc....htm#wp1052631

Your 280w psu has 18-20amps
My old Dell 305w had 22amps

If you replace mobo you need a new copy of Windows

Either you could use this low-profile 8600GT
http://www.ncixus.com/products/26441...y%20Techology/
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814998301

You would be better off going to the outlet and get an XPS 410 cheap and upgrade yourself

you cannot put the dell mobo in that case, for starters, the dell is BTX and case is ATX
as for psu, depending on the dell, and how dell felt when they made it, it might be one where they switched the wires around for the mobo connector

Eventually its going to get out, your case isn't air tight.

See if this shopping cart link works. I added an extra fan cage that works nice with that case. If your not running vista you wont need the extra gig of ram atm.
