Also, you will likely find that the T2 Command Rate is far more friendly with AM2s when you get to the higher OCs for most RAM.

Added screen, should I change the command rate within the BIOS now or wait until I start overclocking the RAM?

You can change it now a 2T command rate as The Duke mentioned often helps a lot with stability and high HTT, it allows the RAM to scale higher in concert with your HTT increase .

Ok, done, I'll assume that the only con to a 2t command rate is heat?
Anything else I need to change/tweak before we can get get to the overclocking?

Just give it a shot, keep your ram within its limits. When you get a nice cpu OC, try bumb down your divider maybe. Run prim or orthos check stability. Post your screenies.

Ok will do, I just have a question. I need to up the Vcore to achieve greater stability but can't seem to find a setting within the BIOS. Under Pc health I just see the Vcore but its greyed out and I can't change it. Are their any overclocking utils I can use to change the Vcore?

I am not familiar with your model but with my Gigabyte the Vcore can be adjusted in the M.I.T. (motherboard intelligent tweaker) section and is called CPU Voltage Control.

A 2T Command will drop the RAMs performance slightly but improve stability at higher speeds and won't make effect the temps.

Mine does not have that, only a bios menu to display the Vcore. I understand that you are supposed to press ctrl+f1 to display overclocking options, however when I do no get an option to raise the Vcore.
