Question Better Overclock

So I have recently tried overclocking my new system. I raised the CPU clock a little, adjusted the multiplier, FSB... However, I feel that I am at a loss, I want to know a way to get a noticeable overclock from my system. I am going to purchase a new Video card pretty soon and any suggestions would be great. Right now I have an integrated Video Card running at 500Mhz (the bios allows you to set the speed). Anyway, I would appreciate some help from anyone who believes they have any noteworthy suggestions for me. I am interested in overclocking the HT bus, CPU... basically everything lol, and am willing/prepared to have to purchase extra cooling or other things to achieve stability/increased performance. I do know a lot about computers and know my way around the BIOS, so I do not need to be talked to slowly.

Welcome to Overclock.net if you don't already have these here are a couple things to download and read. Before OC'ing I would suggest getting the latest BIOS for your MB also, set back to defaults before updating.Disable Cool & Quite in the BIOS and install AMD dual core optimizer.

That's more typing than I feel like doing but here is an excellent place to start http://www.overclock.net/amd-general...formation.html and here http://icrontic.com/articles/overclo...54939_platform

A better power supply is likely in order as well as a good aircooler such as Thermalright Ultra 120,Tuniq Tower or a number of others I am too lazy to link to.

As far as a PSU goes this is my personal favorite Rosewill Stallion Series Dual Ball Bearing Fan RD600N-2DB-SL-BK ATX V2.2/SSI, EPS 12V 600W Active PFC Power Supply-SLI Ready, Auto Switching/90-264V UL but there are many others that will serve you well.

Ill look at those, however I am not going to purchase a new PSU until I get a new Vid Card.

Please add the SPD screen for the RM default timings.
Also, you will likely find that the T2 Command Rate is far more friendly with AM2s when you get to the higher OCs for most RAM.
