Well, if the dimms are different brand / speed, naturally they will be different. They might even require different voltages! Which is why matching ram is always best. - You should expect the interals of the RAM to be different, I'd be pissed if I got a honda motor in a porsche wouldn't you?

pretty pissed yep , , ram is matchin xms2 ram (although bought many months apart chips prob differant still, just had a fiddle about an now showin 3,2gb, it will do n will keep the 4gb

neway just got a pretty good 3dm06 score so am happy
