ok i had 2GB of xms2 ram , an i just installed another 2GB , but everywhere in vista (home premium) it only detects 3GB (ccleaner / sidebar / 3dmark06 etc) but cpuz detects 4GB , can any1 tell me what the prombem is ? cheers
oh an also dimm 1 & 2 is set to 105ns an dimm 3 % 4 is set to 75ns , which is better an should i set them all the same ? cheers again,

Well, in order to use above 3gb you need a 64bit operating system. Your current OS is 32bit.

Yeah, basically. lol. I don't think Home Premium comes with a 64 bit installer on the disc. I know Ultimate does...so you would need to buy either XP 64bit or WinVista Ultimate.
65eu for 1gb? that's expensive man...

pc parts aint cheap ere in ireland , an have no way of buyin off the net , , so now i have 2GB Dual channel , an 1 GB single right ? that still better than 2GB only , hope shop will give me a refund for 1GB lol cause have no plans to upgrade to ultimate,

so 2gb dual an 1 gb single will still be better than 2gb in dual only right ?
1 last question dimm 1 & 2 is set to 105ns an dimm 3 & 4 is set to 75ns , which is better 105 or 75 ? an should i set them both the same ?

More RAM is always better. 2gb is pleanty though. I don't really know about the ns thing, ns = nanosecond...I would assume that the lower the better, but I don't know.
