Good luck
I DO HAVE SERVICE PACK 2! I've said it 2 times now in this thread! The Partition Magic trial has a maximum of 80Gb that it can format, and I'm sure as hell not paying $70 for a program I'll use once :\

Star, calm down there buddy lol. When you say, "I do have it", does that mean you have it installed? or you have it burned on a cd ect ect? Is it slipstreamed into your XP CD?

If your unwilling to use Partition Magic, try BootItNG. Acronis disk director is also an excellent one.

I'm a little confused because if you do have it slipstreamed onto your media then everything should be fine. There was a 137GB limit until SP2 came out. I'm assuming that is your problem.

Umm...I think I used the NTSF (fast) or whatever it was.

Sorry, I hate repeating myself and then someone keep saying I need to get something I already have.

Yes, I already have it installed (sorry I wasn't clear on this before). No it's not slipstreamed with my XP install CD. It's not that am unwilling to use Partition Magic, but I'd just rather not buy it (if that's what you meant). I'll have to try those other programs you suggested, thanks.

EDIT: BootItNG looks more like a boot program than anything else, and Acronis can't do partitions over 7.8Mb (really pointless? Lol).

Star, then that is your problem. You installed XP and then download SP2. Doing a fresh install with SP2 slipstreamed on your media would solve your problems but in your case you'd rather not loose any data and do the whole process over. The only suggestion would be to search around for some software that can actually merge the two partitions together. Just make sure you save any data before doing this...who knows what could happen.

Good luck

Yes, but that wouldn't help because my HTPC software records to one folder which is on the smaller partition...
