• As txtmstrjoe posted here you know the AMD section of OverClock.net is getting Lean and Mean. What this means is that the Sticky section is getting a facelift and for anyone who has browsed through the various stickys you will understand why this is being done.

October 10th 2008 - Kamikaze127 takes ownership of the AM2/AM2+ Club.
November 11th 2008 - AM2/AM2+ Club Gets a face lift!
November 27th 2008 (American Thanksgiving) - AM2/AM2+ Club adds other clubs' links and guides.
November 29th 2008 - Club is made "Official" and is put on sticky in the AMD General section. Courtesy of The Duke.
December 04th 2008 - Club reaches 100 total members, AM2 & AM2+.
January 07th 2009 - Big day for AMD, Deneb core is released in the form of AMD Phenom II.
July 8th, 2009 - G-Byte takes ownership of the AM2/AM2+ Club. (One year anniversary!!
July 10, 2009 - The AM2/AM2+ Club Member's List goes to a Google Spreadsheet. (Great suggestion from Tator Tot)
August 14, 2009 - Club name change adding the AM3 CPU.

So here we are, a new beginning and new management. I would like to say thank you to all of those that came before me in starting and editing this Club and keeping it a going concern. It's been exactly a year since The AM2/AM2+ Club was first posted and there are at this time 1071 posts and 108 pages, using OCN's forum defaults.

I have an AM2 board, but I also found out with a BIOS update my board could support the most powerful Phenoms out there right now. I love this board even though it has an older chipset.

Yeah it's my sig computer. I don't overclock my CPU, not really worth it. I got to 2.8ghz messing around one afternoon but never bothered over that. I'm trying to find someone to buy my CPU so I can get the BE instead.

Well you best jump on the BE asap, as there discontinuing them. Im sure you could push higher with your current chip. The unlocked multi isnt needed, I achieved my oc at stock multi.
