sorry to revive an old thread but i just RMA'ed my old ram and i am still getting BSOD. BSOD code is 0x1000008e. I did memtest on these rams too but no errors shows up. What else could the problem be?

i'll run orthos right now.
__________________i wish i didn't RMA my old rams. they ran at 2.6v(stock), stock timing, 1t, and 250mhz. these new rams run at 2.8v(stock), stock timing,1t, and only gets 225mhz.... EDIT: this is weird. if it is an not a hardware issue how come reseating the RAMs help? also, i cant run orthos at all. I get a BSOD right away the BSOD when using orthos is 0x1000000a

Krazieaznboi, doesn't sound like your machine is stable. Does it crash/lockup at default clocks?
Good luck

__________________i think i just found something. it might be my psu. my cpu voltage isnt stable.. its jumps between 1.28v to 1.30v its odd though. because reseating the RAM also fixes the problem temporarily.
