Xsabrewulf, I still highly recommend checking the rails on the power supply. It doesn't matter if your system is idle or on load, the PSU could still be causing problems
if it's faulting/failing.
The diagnostic tool is very lite. I can't imagine it using a whole lot of memory during the surface scan.
