I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure that Prime95 for 64-bit versions is still called Prime95, not Prime64. Anyone wanna raise the flag on that or am I right?

EDIT: Oh, and add Rivatuner on there. And if I were you, I would completely remove the nVidia System Tools. Pretty much everyone here will tell you it's useless and don't use it.

Maybe you could add a Benchmarking Tools, since those are really different from Stability Testing. 3D Mark would belong in there, but it might be best to include all the popular versions: 03, 05, 06, & Vantage.

As for Monitoring Software, RealTemp and Speedfan would be good to add, some people use them. I personally don't care for them, but some do. I prefer to use Hardware Monitor, you should definitely add that one.

GPU-Z we all use for Video Card validation.

That's about all I can think of for right now. Have fun with that, lol.

Also, something else to consider adding in the future would be some brief explanations for everything. It would be a very resourceful guide if you not only provided the list of whats used and the links, but also gave the why's behind them. Tell people when to use CoreTemp over RealTemp (45nm vs 65nm chips), why some people prefer Speedfan over HWMonitor, what the differences are between the different stress tests, etc .

That should keep you busy for quite some time looking all that up, lol. You're a bigger man than me, I know I wouldn't be so inclined. I can't ever focus for that long.

Hiiyah, your correct. It is still called Prime95...just written to run on a 64-bit OS. There is a 32-bit and 64-bit version available.

Good luck

EVGA precision is very good, obviously just for EVGA GPUs but it's really very good

down side is you have to register to download it.
wrong, you don't need an evga card to use it. you need to register for free with evga on their website, then you can download it. for free

Another Benchmark Program that I like is PCmark Vantage....More of a all around Benchmarking Program and is free for 1 use....or $6.95 to buy.

Here is a Link ( you will have to scroll down a little)

3dMark 03, 05, & 06 are all free for their basic editions, and good for more than one-time use. Definitely worth adding.

You also might want to do some research and specify what temperature monitoring software is best for dual vs. quad and 65nm vs. 45nm. There really are some key differences that people should be aware of before deciding on one or the other. There are plenty of threads around here where people point that out. Perhaps someone that really knows the answer could post directly on this thread and specify.

Good luck!
