Sentryskills, I normally run OCCT when testing my overclocks. The default 1 hour test is convenient and from what I hear the 1 hour test is equivalent to a 24 hour test in Prime 95. OCCT can also be set to "infinite" meaning there is no set run time. Orthos is another excellent stability tester. For validation I run CPU-Z of course.

S&M is another good tool but it's really hard to pass those tests. In my opinion no system is 100% stable but at least some of these apps give us satisfaction when they do pass

Hope this helps

Sentryskills, just FYI...keep a close eye on your full load temps. That application really stresses your machine. Txtmstrjoe (on this forum) lost a set of memory to that application

Good luck buddy!

A word of advice: you should provide links to the most current downloads for those programs, like this:

Validation Software
CPU-Z
CoreTemp

Stable Testing
Prime95

OR, it might be better if you could lay it out something like this:

Validation Software
CPU-Z
Most Current Version: 1.47

CoreTemp
Most Current Version: 0.99.3

Stable Testing
Prime95: About, Guide
Most Current Version: 25.6 32-Bit, 25.6 64-Bit

Something like that would make this guide A LOT more useful. I know it's still a work in progress, but it would really be beneficial in that form. Time-consuming, though. Maybe I'm just slow, but that took me about 20-30 minutes. And as often as things get updated, you'd have to upkeep the thread. Good initiative, though. Just be prepared for the necessary work that would be involved.

Yep, that's exactly where those links were found, lol. It just takes a few minutes to track down the most current versions and the best download locations as well as good, informative "about" pages.

EDIT: Rep+ for taking the initiative to start a [hopefully] good thread. If you play your cards right with this thing and keep it updated frequently enough, it could very well become sticky material. (AKA: Goo)

EVGA precision is very good, obviously just for EVGA GPUs but it's really very good

down side is you have to register to download it.
