Emersonsc, excellent job man. Very impressive. Big difference from the original picture

I have very poor electrical knowledge so I may not be able to help you with your question. Do you have any before and after pictures of the soldering job on the 7 volt adapters?

Good luck

Nenkitsune, thanks for clarification

Emersonsc, this may be the culprit but check in your BIOS under "PC Health Status" and check to make sure the fans are set to come on at a certain temperature. For while I would also have to tap one of my fans to get it going...turned out it was set to come on at a certain temperature.

For your first modding project that is awesome! I suspect that your future projects will also be of great excellence

Good luck

!!!UPDATE!!!

I told you i needed more! SO i've added a second 4850, and put water blocks on both vid cards. Then, i added a second rad, this one is a Black Ice 220.

Now here is where i want to find the moron that designed this case. Alot said in the begining "why didnt you just mount the rad on the top since the case already has premounts"

WELL those comments were obviously written by people who never owned or even looked inside the case. Let me explain:

The so called pre-mounts... dont really exsist. They are two small holes which would in no way hold a 220 rad like NZXT claims. SO i needed to mount the rad, but i did this on the top, using my trusty roto-tool. Here is what i have so far...

Thank you fellas/ladies!!!

Water cooling is alot of fun! and even funner to mod the case to make work!

BTW

IF anyone ever gets the h20 220 apex kit from swiftech, which i highly recommend, do two things.

Throw away the fans, and throw away the 7v adapters. Reason being the 7v adapters are simply plugs with resistors soldered into them. Those fans dont like them. I had to push start the fans every start up. Very annoying. Second, those fans are useless in 5v mode, and running 12v you'd swear to god there was a single prop airports air-show in your house. they are loud.

Hey just got a few questions as I might be doing this to my Tempest as well. Where do you think the best place to mount the Rad is? And what Rad would you recommend for a single CPU loop on a Quad like mine?

Nice setup btw I'm green with envy :P. What temps are you looking at now? (Room temp included).
