Unless they messed up the sensor on every single board they produced, it's not a false reading. If you need more proof, just go on newegg's site and read the reviews on the product. At least one in three reports temps higher then 90C on the NB.

How long would it take at that heat to kill the NB or at least damage it?. Twenty minutes?.

thlnk3r: Can you link me to a case with lots of good airflow, and space?. HDD space mostly. I don't care much for DVD drive space. No PSU please. Not over one hundred dollars. I'm not to sure if I'm going to keep my current Micro case because when I have it closed, my GC heats up like a sauna in there. 100+C in crysis. Granted.. I could mod the case, but with what?. There's no room for more fans on the case. I would have to cut out the side of the case and add a fan to blow air onto the graphics card - and this case cover is really flimsy.

Sunrex, in regards to your NB question...well only time will tell. I can't tell you how long it takes for failure to start occurring but to be honest I really can't imagine a sustained temperature of 100C being legit.
Here is the case I currently am running: Coolermaster CM690. The case actually offers quite a bit of room and allows for up to seven 120mm fans. Check out the link in my sig if you would like to see how I did my cable management. Here is another great case: Antec 900. Slightly above $100 but it's a great case. One of my buddies has this case and loves it. I'm sure a few more users will stop by and post up some suggestions for you ![]() Good luck

__________________SEVEN!?? wow. I'm liking how that sounds. I'm looking at the pics on newegg, and I can only see where it would take 5 120MMs though (and some smaller ones). 1 front 1 back 2 side 1base where are the rest mounted? I would only wish to see YOUR case having a window. But its quite nice as it is. When I get myself $30,000, I'll consider it.

![]() The 120mm fan configuration is: 1 Front 1 Rear 2 Top 1 Bottom 2 Side Panel and there is a 70mm opening behind the motherboard tray on that panel. The case is easy to dissemble and very easy to clean. I love it! Hope that helps
