Jazino, as mentioned previously software monitoring is not always accurate. Are you able to get your hands on a multimeter? You can easily test the three rails(12volt, 3.3volt and 5volt) within a few minutes. Here is a great guide that explains this procedure: http://www.clunk.org.uk/forums/guide...ing-guide.html. If they are not within spec then it may explain for some of these issues.

Can you explain this in better detail?

Have you ran a surface scan on both of your hard drives to rule out any bad sectors? What is the brand/model of each drive? I wouldn't worry about 70C. These processors are thermally controlled to protect against high temperatures. Nothing is going to "fry"

Let us know

Good luck

I am sure I could get a multimeter but would that prove or disprove whether it was the psu?

As for the reinstall it wasn't like normal, before I was able to tell vista where to install it would hang for way too long. I tried a few times and it was just like it couldn't process any information or something.

I am running chkdsk right now and almost done but there doesnt seem to be any problems with the disk. I also fired up FC2 and it may be running a nit better right now. I will be back with an update in a bit.

Jazino, checking the rails with a multimeter will inform you whether or not the rails are within specification. If they are off quite a bit then that may be the culprit of some the issues.

Chkdsk only fixes errors on the drive. We still aren't clear whether or not the drives are actually still healthy or failing. It's best to perform a full surface scan on the drives. It would be helpful if you could tell me what brand the drives are? That way I can point you in the right direction and tell you what application you need to use to perform this diagnostic.

Good luck

It is not in a case so airflow is good, NB hsf never gets searingly hot and gpu stays very reasonable as well. I don't think it is a current heat problem as much as it is something likely caused by overheating.
Why would airflow be good if it's not in a case? Do you have a fan on it? Is it in a skelton case or sitting on cardboard/plastic or what?
