LOL I do it all the time myself. That review was definitely jaded, but it was helpful. I have read elsewhere about the BIOS problems, but that review was based on an old revision, and maybe of the problems have been sorted with updates. Not sure about the BIOS OC problems, but like I said, AMD Overdrive to the rescue They really hated the colrs also, but I like the color coding system. It makes it easier to not make a mistake, and who is staring at their motherboard anyways. I typically look at the monitor when I use my computer
rep+ for unintentionally swaying me towards the board LOL

So did you push the button or what? I ordered a 920 earlier, I was almost swayed to an x3 but stuck to the 920. Pretty excited, been a while since I had a new AMD system.

I have flipped the safety cover, but I still don't have a firing solution. The 920 should OC just as well as the 940, just takes a little more work on your part to get it there. An unlocked multiplier is almost cheating
Welcome back to the light

The only thing I can think of is the fact that AM3 is already here, and you might bite yourself in the behind later on, as that 940BE won't be compatible with the newer mobos.

Perhaps wait for this MSI 790FX? 4x PCIe if you're a folder. Just a thought.

I would wait, The cost isn't worth the small performance gain.

But that one's AM3/DDR3.

Only downside is he'd have to get DDR3 ram. But if you're upgrading, might as well upgrade.
