i just realized, the board supports am2 and am2+, i am assuming that supports am3, is that right?

it certainly will. am3 processors are backwards compatible even with the earliest am2 boards with a proper bios update.

you can't but you won't be able to crossfire with another ati card in that board. hmm get a 55nm gtx260 instead. cheers
