I'm going to keep one of my 8800GT's and use it as an NVIDIA PhysX card. I will push my Q6600 to 3.2GHz and keep it around for another year or so.

in a year or so you will definitely need a new mobo for an upgrade :P you know how intel works no back-compatibility with its cpu/mobo even with memory... as for amd current am3 cpu can be used in highend am2+ boards/ddr2 rams and a year later if you upgrade to am3 mobo/ddr3 it will give you an extra 1~15% improvement and you can get a new cpu in a year or 2 with out worrying about a new set of mobo/ram :P can intel do that to save money? use a highend ddr2/mobo rather than a lowend ddr3/mobo?
