Default $400 Build, your the pro's

Never done a complete build and you guys have so you can help me out here
Don't need: Monitor, Keyboard, Mouse, speakers., I'm a multitasker not a gamer so I dont need a GPU, unless you can fit it in
Might need an OS but I'll get that cheaper somewhere else

I would stay away from ECS motherboards, get a gigabyte, asus, or even biostar.

How does this look?
Less that $400 after MIR, nicer motherboard, nicer case, nicer PSU.

For a few bucks more you can go am3

mobo/proc http://www.newegg.com/Product/ComboD...t=Combo.182106

ram http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820227288

Edit: You would need to buy a cheap vc with that set up though, or you can look at the different AM3 mobos for one with an igp, I picked that one because it was the best deal.

The CrossFireX MBs are a great choice because the OB video is good and will suit your needs and allows for a future upgrade and the OB can be CFed with a compatible ATI card if so needed.
I too prefer the Gigabyte, but have had good luck with Biostar too
