Question New build. Suggestions on any changes?

so my parents finally payed me back the 3 grand i loaned them last summer. Im planning on splitting it into 1/2 car 1/2 computer. so the [proposed] build for the computer would be:

Thats not bad but the cpu you have in your build is a AM2 not AM3 so you will either have to get different ram or a different CPU but not bad so far ..

There are a few things that i wouldnt get and use the money els where to get better hardware ie. CPU and GPU but thats just my 2 cents worth

1. The memory you chose will not work on that motherboard, as it's triple channel designed for the i7's. I believe they use a lot less voltage.

2. The processor you chose will not work with that motherboard either, as it's AM2+, and only supports DDR2 memory.

I'll post some suggestions in a sec.
