1. Core i7
2. 4890 or GTX 275
3. Do RAID or get a velociraptor
4. cheaper mid tower or get a full tower (like the haf 932)
5. do you really need a sound card?

....recommend what from newegg?

Can you recommend any from newegg? Fornately, I can only order my parts through them.
Fixed.
Newegg is probably THE best online retailer. If you mean to recommend a video card, I would either get an XFX version or this awesome Sapphire one with an awesome cooler.

Mugen 2 > Dark Knight. And Cheaper. And with free shipping. And it makes people go like this when they look in your case.

I made 2 carts, one with i7 and one with the X4 and I was able to get more with AMD.

I was looking at this one for my card.
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814150359

I think I am just going to to RAID, a velociraptor would run more than the SSD I originally had.

What other mid tower case would you guys recommend? I was orignally looking at the Antec 900 but it is about the same price.

I was getting that sound card and a pair of triton headphones so I could hear perfectly in game, because I mainly play FPS where sound is important.

A good heatsink from newegg.

I thought you couldn't fit a Mugen 2 with the Dominator ram? I could be wrong though.

If you go Phenom II 955 get the Asus Crosshair III mobo
If you go Core i7 get either the DFI LP UT X58-T3eH or the Foxconn Bloodrage

Dominator ram is probably THE WORST ram choice available. It is overpriced, bad timings compared to other kits, and the heatspreaders will cause you trouble with some CPU coolers (not sure about mugen 2 specifically).

Theres a thread about the Mugen 2 not being able to fit with the Dominator ram somewhere around here.
