It is probable. Maybe he could mount it so it faces vertically, not interfering with any ram slots. But still like I said. Dominator = poorest decision possible. Let's compare kits.

OCZ Platinum AMD Edition 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600- $89. 7-7-7-24 @ 1.65v. This is honestly the best ddr3 kit you will find for am3.

G.SKILL Trident 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600- $75. 8-8-8-21 @ 1.65v.

The other 2 kits are cheaper, have tighter timings, and run at lower voltage. Dominator = FAIL.

not all Dominators are a fail, while i do agree they are not a good price/performance module, nothing can compete with the Dominator GT's

DEFINITELY get the i7 build. It absolutely smokes everything else on the market and is not very much more expensive. If you have a Microcenter near you, they are selling the i7 920 D0 for $200 right now.
