Thanks guys, I just hope his rig won't stomp my rig in gaming. The only problem that's bothering me, is the 550W OCZ PSU with 36A on the 12V-rail . I don't know if that will suffice for an HD4890 OC and a PhII.

I like it, only thing is I say go with a Caviar Black rather than a Caviar Blue if your budget will allow it. You get marginally better performance, but more importantly a 5 year warranty. Usually its only a few bucks more.

Well, you can hope all you want buddy, heh, but a 4890 OC'd will own your 9800 GTX.
Nice build though.

Yeah, well I have two of them, and the CPU also matters (4GHz Yorkfield vs 2.8GHz Heka) . Thanks for your reaction. But will the PSU be sufficient?

EDIT: I forgot to mention that he will be gaming on a 17 inch monitor (1280x1024). Huge overkill I know, but he won't upgrade his PC for a while .

If it helps at all, my 520W Corsair powered my overclocked Wolfdale, GTX280, X-Fi, 3 Raptors, and 4 case fans with ease

Just to add to this: a overclocked i7 920 @4.0Ghz with a 4870x2 only draws 550watts from the wall when under full GPU/CPU load.
