Ok, so I have 3 of the exact same drives. This is them. Only 2 are connected, until I can Dremel a corner off my video card.
I am running XP Pro x64 They are Barracuda 7200.12 SATA 3Gb/s 500GB Hard Drive's. I plugged in a new one, of the same exact model today, and Windows won't mount it. It sees it in the device manager, but its not mounted in the My Computer Area... I have like 2 extra sata ports blocked by my video card. I have to use the 2nd sata channel ports to plug them in, and one of the channel 1 ports for my DVD drive. I have switched them all around in different combination's and still no change. My BIOS sees it too. GIGABYTE GA-MA785GMT-UD2H AM3 is my motherboard. Pics of case and hdd's. ![]() ![]() Help...

Solved my own problem again. Initialized the drive and it works. Forgot a step. LOL.
