By doing about 25+ jobs first, for free.
If I had to buy hardware though, of course they would have to pay for that. Just offered my time for free, on the one count that they would always recommend me.
After you do 20+ successfully jobs for people, people start to respect you and recommend you. You will be amazed if you do top notch job's how many people it will bring in. By good jobs I mean cleaning there cases, taking the incentive to do cable management, add some of your favorite most useful programs, cleaning viruses, recommending upgrades etc to better suit there needs, ohh and remember that 99% of people are not pc gamers!
Also take your time, people prefer you take your time and think things through so that do them right, then for you to rush through something. Also give them your number, or give them a couple business cards, and ask them to recommend you and use you again.
One thing is for sure, for a 16 year old kid like me, it sure does beat doing odd jobs, and I have racked up thousands doing it
Good Luck
