I would say the worst are PCChips, ECS, and Jetway. You get what you pay for I suppose. The best are Asus and Gigabyte.

I've never had it, but from family (brothers), friends and people's experience, they all say its ECS. Funny is that it runs less than a year.

worst manufacturer.....Biostar is my vote whats yours
I am rolling with a biostar because i got a great deal and the idea of having a crossfireX capable system appealed to me at the time.

It has its flaws but it hasn't been terrible for owning almost a year. The only thing i hate the most is that when using one video card, the manual says i must put the card in the bottom PCI-Express x16 slot where the card faces the very bottom of my case where it gets little air. Meanwhile, the secondary PCI-Express slot is way up near the northbridge where a card there would get way better cooling.

This thread is all about opinions..... person has 1 bad experience with a manufacturer and then that one is the worst in the world.... or they blow it up and blame the manufacturer or they buy the cheapest board they can get and can't understand why some settings aren't available in the bios..... sheesh... As i heard someone say once "you buy junks, you get junks...."
I've had this MSI board for about 4yrs now.... works great... it was $49 on geeks.com... no issues...
As someone said earlier the most returned board at frys is ecs..... i heard the same thing from someone at frys.... plus.... i've had 2 friends that had them die after 6 months... but they were the cheap ones, not the black series or whatever... i suspect those are good...
