Sempron 64 2800+
512mb Crucial 400mhz ram
80 gb sata western digital hard drive
coolermaster centuron case + 430 coolermaster psu

Ecs nForce4-A754 mobo w/pci-e

Lite-on dvd drive
Artic Silver Thermal paste

It will cost around $480-500 tell me if you think that this will be good enough to oc the cpu and gpu. I am looking to get about 2.2-2.4 ghz on air is this possible with this setup. My first attempt at building so not to harsh . Also let me know anything you would change. Will this run cod uo fine? What would you predict I could get fps wise.

I have had a few ECS mobo's in the past, all Socket-A's though, none of which had any good OCing potential or options. I'd suggest finding somebody that has that board and asking them how it is for options/OC'ing ability.

As for the rest it looks pretty nice, Arctic Silver Ceramique I think has overtaken AS5 in respects for cooling (read many posts/reviews putting it 1c higher at idle but 3c lower at load temps with same exact setup). Just an opinion- I'll be testing them myself soon as I can afford the rest of my parts.

Other than those little things it looks like a nice build. Good luck building/OverClocking!

Check out some of the MBs in here ...
http://www.overclock.net/amd-general...questions.html

They use the Sempron 754.

Good set-up BTW, you should consider a gig of RAM if you want good gaming though.
