Some have air and get better temps.. That is my point. So they can exceed 1.55V.

Mike. Slow down and breathe in and breathe out. As a new overclocker..DO NOT RUN OVER 55 DEGREES ON LOAD ....PERIOD.. You are taking the chips in your own hands. Get a good overclock or as high as possible with 55 or so..... Then get watercooling.

As far as bios goes, you need to read up and understand. Every system is different and what bios settings work for me may not work for you. I got my 955 stable 4GHz with my old M4A79 deluxe.

I just wanted to see how hi I could get it and it was 3.9 on air and stable...I turned it down to 3.8 at 1.475 and it is very stable so I am going to leave it there till the water cooling go`s on..I was just trying to do some research on the mother board just to give me a better idea when I start oc it again with water.....

OK water is on and temp went down 22c in prime95 but still cant over clock past 3.9 ghz...But I noticed something in my bios I had the vcore at 1.55 and in the bios under the "power" tab I can see the vcore voltage and it only shows 1.5 volt even if I put the vcore at 1.7volts...also with cpu-z the voltage will show the some voltage as the bios if I stay under 1.5 volts if I put the voltage past that point it jump around....could my prob be my psu? I am only running a ocz 600 watt.

There is a jumper for higher vcore. If you want a higher voltage then move the jumper.
