Is your current 3.8ghz stable or are you able to boot into windows with it?

1.55volts is the highest you will want to go on air. Anything more and at load you will not be able to sustain good temps.

The cpu cooler you have needs an upgrade. That is an awesome cooler for dual cores but not for a quad. I had one and as soon as I got a better cooler my temps dropped 7c at load.

Giving the NB a boost in voltage will help stabilize your cpu clock. On air the highest I was able to get prime 95 stable was 3.885ghz. The mythical 4.0ghz is not easily attained on air. There are a few people who have gotten the chip to that clock stable on air.

For more insight read this post. http://www.overclock.net/amd-cpus/49...oc-thread.html

There is a wealth of knowledge in it.

If you go with a water cooling system you can hit 4.0ghz. If you want higher speed go with a phase change or liquid nitrogen.

That is vastly incorrect. That will be overvolting. 1.55-1.6V.

62C according to AMD Anything more and you risk damaging your proc.

For me my BIOS is hard set to 65C so if i hit 65C my computer shuts off.

It's a rule of thumb is not to go over 1.55v on air plain and simple. Not everyone is as lucky as you are jimi.
