I know that you can get the same power supply from OCZ in 700W for 89.99. I would do that instead of your current one. If you go sli/xfire you may need a bit more power. 10$ is surely worth it.

Sorry for double posting but the ECS motherboard is a cheaper brand and you won't get much of an OC from it. Granted you have a locked processor...but I would just change that setup completely to something like:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16819103674 189.88 processor X4 955 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813128392 UD3P Gigabyte board for 79.99 For graphics I wouldn't buy a 4870 now. Look to the lower end 5XXX series ATI cards. The 5770 just came out. It is almost as powerful as the 4870, but it has DX11, extra hdmi ports, better processor achitecture, and will run MUCH cooler. Or if you can afford it, the 5850 is beastly =)

This board is 89.99 and it's got the two slots you need. If you don't ever want to OC you can go with the locked proc, but it's AMD and they made overclocking so easy with the unlocked multiplier. I do highly suggest the 955 processor.
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813131397 there's the asus board

also theres that with the same mobo thatd save me a little money. i know the mobos really not that good at all especially for o/c but when i o/c id get a new mobo and cooler but thats probably not worth the extra 10 bucks spent on the asus. |

If you can, go with the first one. It is really up to you. We will give you our advice and our experience, but when it comes down to it, its up to you. Thats the wonderful thing about building computers. You get EXACTLY what you want.
