Can you guys help me with a Budget Gaming Build? If you guys have any other suggestions to other parts, I'd appreciate your input. Also, I prefer Quad-Core processor and a monitor included.
Here are the parts I've picked out so far, tell me what you think: Processor: AMD Athlon II X4 620 Propus Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-MA770-UD3 RAM: 2 x 2 GB DDR2-800 G.Skill Video Card: nVidia GeForce 9800 GT Power Supply: Corsair CMPSU-650TX Hard Drive: Western Digital 320GB SATA II DVD Burner: Samsung DVD Burner Case: Cooler Master Centurion 5 Monitor: AOC 20" Monitor OS: Windows 7 Home Premium 64-Bit Total: $862.89

Just a few suggestions:
1)DDR3 is just as cheap as DDR2 nowadays, so go AM3 2)For gaming, Propus is a decent choice, but Callisto or Heka are much better suited simply for gaming. If you wait a few more weeks, a Phenom II x2 555 will release with C3 stepping that overclocks much better, should be able to unlock due to early batches for demand, and clock memory/nb frequency a lot higher. 3)I would not recommend the 9800gt at this point in GPUs. I don't know what else you could get, but surely something better exists. 4)You also don't have a motherboard listed. Grab a 785g or 770 AM3 board that is reasonably priced.

I found a motherboard, but it only supports DDR2. How about this motherboard? Gigabyte GA-MA770-UD3 Either a 9800 GT or should I spend the extra $10 and get a 4850?

I'm not sure what mobo you're using, but you don't have one included in there. Is that the reason for the DDR2 memory purchase? Anyhow, I would bump the psu down to something like this 400W Corsair and upgrade the videocard to something like a Radeon 5770. 650W is far overkill for the system.
