Well, so not to waste gas I waited till I was headed in the direction of the hardware. By does so I've missed the guy and will have to wait til later to meet up with him. But I'm still going to get my new toys. I'll just have to wait a while longer before I can play with them.

Well, last night I picked up the card & mobo. Of course I wanted to run home and rip everything out of my system so I could get it up and running with the new stuff. But I knew that wouldn't have been smart. So today after I get home from my daily routine I'll find away to install the mobo & card without making my Windows go invalid after detecting the new hardware. Yeah I know. I'm still in noob mode when it comes to somethings. lol

Question... What's the best Catalyst to use with the 4850?

Update: I installed the new mobo & gpu late last night and finished adding the drivers and extra this evening. Thanks for the good advice. So far all the games I normally play are running EXTREMELY well!!! . It's more of an increase than I expected. And I have no regrets. Now all I need is a Phenom IIx4 955 BE! ;P

Grats man!

Go to hear it's all working out well for you.

I could say a better CPU Cooler, Sound Card, & Larger MOnitors wouldn't hurt you either

True. I definately want atleast one big monitor. Probably a 42 to 52" LCD tv for my games. These 17" ones are ok for everything else.

Another plus was I got to apply thermal paste for the first time. Before the heatsink had that pre-applied pad and my average temp was around 38-41'c. After applying the thermal paste this time around as we speak my temp is 28'c.
