Thanks a lot for recommending the sunbeam, I think I will go with that when I order everything together once the 555be comes out if its still at that great price. I've read that it does fit in (barely) in a cm690 so thats good
As for motherboards, I also stumbled across

ASUS M4A79XTD EVO

which seems like a fairly popular choice, only discernable difference from ASUS M4A78T-E 790gx is that it runs at 1600 without an OC (or so I gather from DDR3 1800(O.C.) / 1600 / 1333 / 1066)
I think between the 2 I cant go wrong but the EVO is far more recent and seems to be a good overclocker. They are both about the same price too.
