Default Is it worth the extra 20 quid??
Just wondering is the AMD Phenom II X4 955 Black Edition worth the extra 20 quid over the AMD Phenom II X3 720??
im building a budget rig and have noticed the price isnt much of a difference the rig at the mo is

Yes. You get another core, and an extra 400MHz base clock speed.

They also generally overclock better.

btw, How are you getting it for only £20 more? All the shops I'm checking have it for £130~ and the X3 720 at £100~.

Very worth it for only 20 quid more..go for it, should be able to get 3.8ghz with decent cooling.
