Total noob here. I'm about to start overclocking for the first time, yeah!
But I need some hardware upgrade advice first. I know my rig is old but I don't have the $$ to seriously upgrade right now. If you had just a few $$$, what would you do? I thought maybe I should buy an Athlon 64 X2 5200+ for $70. Am I better off spending this money on something else? Like ram or beer? Here's what I've got now: M2N32-SLI Deluxe, Bios 1001 Athlon 64 X2 3800+ AM2 (not overclocked yet) 3072MBytes PC2-5300 (333MHz) DDR2 2 x 512 (Corsair Valueselect) 2 x 1028 (Corsair Valueselect) - so all slots are full Nvidia GeForce 7950GT 512Mb DDR 300Gb Seagate (ST332062) I use this thing mostly for photoshop editing etc. |

+1 for spending on beer!!!
Seriously, I would save up and go quad core for photo editing.

Could I cram this into my M2N32sli Deluxe and unlock the extra cores?
