My volts are at 1.4xx but I will try turning them up. Has been good so far since my last crash post above. Playing Arma2 and runs great, really weird.

Also I have the plastic cap off my reset button which sits under my 5840 card. It has 2mm or more clearance, so I dont think I am hitting it. My card is stable in the slot, but who knows. Do the make some thing I can put in my PCIX16 slot for more clearance?

Should be options in your BIOS for CPU Spread Spectrum, set that to disabled.

2hours made no changes been playing arma2 the whole time no crashes no restarts. Very strange

Ok I didn't make any changes except the cool and quite. And it started locking up and restarting again. At one point after a self restart the boot manager came up and asked to choose a OS to start. So I decided to reinstall the OS and every thing. I changed the batt for the cmos with one I know works(couldn't find my multi meter). But even as I try to install my OS the system locks up. I will let you know if I get it installed.

As for new parts I havethe new UD5P MB, the new 965 BE CPU, the new Mushkin 1600 memory(working @ 1333). So I am wondering if it could be a fault with the MB. I don't know what else could cause the system to hang up. Sorry to make you all think more. Saved up so I could upgrade to all this and now I am having these issues, lol. I know I am the only one. My last upgrades went so smooth, that's why I figure it gotta be hard ware related. But I have been wrong b4, might be some thing I did.

Ok so I disasembled the raid array and tried to relaod the OS. I got to the screen where you pick the drive to install your os on. So I reboot build a new raid array and go to install. I tried many time and system would lock up before I got to that screen again. So I change settings to see if I can install on a non raid. I even disconect one drive, still freezes up. I connect the othe drive and disconnect the one I had tried. Still freezes up, can't load on either and that one time seems a fluke.

So where do I stand? Should I return the MB and CPU, doesn't make sense to me. Didn't think it was a drive since arma2 played well and it was on both. I also developed a realtek ethernet issue and I couldn't connect to the internet any more. Tried updating that driver and still had issues connecting. Could use some in put, think I gotta RMA some thing or some things

What settings are you running the RAM at?

Can you test your RAM to see if it is stable. Bad sticks happen.
