"First question: Will that PSU handle an overclocked Phenom II x3 720 and crossfired 5770s?"

I'm sure you saw this PSU while looking for yours and I only suggest this one because there is room for more fans on that 300 and I'm sure you'll have aftermarket cooling for that OC'd x3 which will chew away at the 600watt OCZ. Not to mention the addition of HDDs and Media Drives in the future I'd say 650w is about standard for dual GPU setups.

A bit late now isn't it? Seeing as I already ordered lol.

I'm pretty sure the 600w PSU I picked out will work just fine for xfired 5770's. They only draw 80w max. That times two is 160w + about 140w for the OC'd Phenom II x3. So both GPU's + CPU = 300w. That leaves at least 220w for other stuff. I only have 1 HDD and 1 optical drive. Not planning on getting anymore optical drives but even if I throw in another HDD, extra USB ports, sound card, card readers, and other stuff, there should still be plenty of power to go around.
