Default Phenom FX?

anyone here anymore news about the " Phenom FX " cpus that were being worked on? think AMD might go dual quads or dual 6 core cpus?
also anyone know when these beasts might be coming around? ID LOVE! another AMD FX system. ( thinks back to the beast Athlon FX build.. )

I don't think AMD will be offering any FX models for quite some time.

thats a real shame.. i think a Phenom FX line would be great vs i9 intel cpus.
even Dual Quad FXs, and then have the AMD 6 core line would rock.

Nah, not going to happen anytime soon...
It's too late to bring out quad-core FX's. MAYBE in 2011, with the release of Bulldozer architecture, we'll see a $1000 16-Core FX processor.
