Hello guys i managed to overclock my cpu (2,2 stock ghz to 2,4ghz) on an HP laptop (CPU : AMD MOBILE SEMPRON 3800+).
__________________Laptop : HP Compaq 6715s Laptop with Windows XP Professional x64 How did i do that? First of all, download ClockGen ok, run clockgen as administrator. press "PLL Setup" select this PLL (ICS 951446) it worked for me and read all my processor information in PLL Control. ok then go to PLL Control, and slide the first bar from 2,2ghz to 2,4ghz, if u want to slide the bar to 2,5ghz or 2,55ghz you can do that. dont go further cause 2,6 ghz is unstable for me (maybe 2,55 ghz is stable).. i can go over 2,5ghz or 2,55ghz but it will maybe crash your pc (it does startup again),you can try to go 2,6ghz but i am not responsible to anything that happens to your laptop.... 2,4 ghz is what i think stablest for this cpu... But anyway this is how i did it, and it works !I could'nt manage to do this in bios cause hp does not have that overclock options... thx and please rep+ ![]() EDIT : just checked (2,5ghz is stable to and 2,6ghz is unstable so i wont try 2,6ghz) here is the proof

how will you provide cooling?
