Default First boot, GPU won't power.

See my system build below.

The rest of the system fires up fine, the Sapphire 5770 shows no signs of power. No fan or heat.

Any idea? Being new to higher performance GPU's, I'm not sure where to start.

Where I'm at, no other system and no other GPU.

Should be in the right slot though. I'm wonderng if it's a compatibility issue.

Hi.

It's not a compatbility issue.

Your power supply should have two PCI-E cables, try using the one that you're not currently using. And make sure that it's properly installed in the slot by screwing down the PCI bracket into the PCI backplate on your case.

Edit: You should have the GPU installed in the slot closest to the CPU socket.

Switched cables and it worked..... guess there's something wrong with that cable?
