Default 5600+ / GA-MA785G-UD3H Overclocking headache

Is anyone else out there with the same combo, i'm having trouble getting it stable @ 3189mhz.

Anybody know what the HT should be set to? 200/400/600/800/1000mhz

How about let's get some more information first. What's your voltages CPU, NB? What's your Frequency? What speed is your RAM running at? What's your temps? What's the temps as your most stable?

Keep it at around 750-1100Mhz, but yeah, we need more info.

The chip isn't very good at overclocking, I'll tell ya that. I have it, and only could go up to 3.1Ghz. Lame if you ask me.

Going to get a 555BE anyways.

I had it stable on previous board (M2N68) @ 3190mhz with less bios options than what i do this one.

I've thinking my just go and get the AMD Phenom II 550 BE($119) which we know to be a great overclocker or cheap out and go for AMD ATHLON II X2 240 ($72) and see what i can squeeze out of it

I have the 550be ( wifes rig ) and it clocks from hell 3.8 but wasn't able to unlock fully, luck of the draw.
