no no no, the CPU won't get to the RAMs rated speed

So I don't know if it overclocks because I can't even get to the stock speed

dont want to really spend more nthan £60.00 on ram. so yea id have to get 512 first then upgrade at a later date.

That kingstomn ram looks wiked , bit above my budget , you recommend getting 512 now then uograde later getting anither 512 or wait and get a dual kit 1gb when i have the cash

Get a 512 stick now, and then get another 512 stick of the same type later...

You do not need to buy a "dual channel" kit to run dual channel...just two sticks of the same speed ram.

Sorry bout the expensive ram, didnt know what your budget was.

overclock.co.uk has some good PC3200 for 60-72...
