512mb RAM GEIL Golden Dragon Dual Channel Kit 2x256meg
Hello, i have seen this advertised and just wondered if anyone knows anything about it, i have heard of GEIL and i know they are very good but is this anygood, is it a special or limited addition kit?

Also i am currently running Corsair Value 1gb.. yes i know crap . But will i see a vast improvement running 512 of this dragon geil than my 1gb of value? The geil is pc3200 400mhz.

Well, as its PC3200 it will allow you to OC your current CPU a bit, but if you upgrade to a barton (200fsb) it probably wont overclock much further than its default 200mhz as this ram is more for looks than raw overclocking.

Try some of the Geil Platinum stuff....now that rocks

I'm got Kingmax PC3200 in my laptop, and Kingmax PC3500 in my desktop

I can't tell you if it oc's well, as my CPU won't reach the RAMs rated speed

Ok ill checkthem out, hahaha so the ram wont actuallt get to the recommended speed..... and u wont me to get it . do you think its the ram or something else.
