Finally decided to up the specs in my old pc with the approach of Vista. 2 different sticks of RAM although I have 4 slots so I will soon have 2 of each. Anyways just bought some CORSAIR Valueselect 1GB stick and it is just sitting in the system doing nothing. Any help would be great.

well find the voltages for your ram there, and if it matches the specs of your ram it recognizes it. Im not totally sure where on your motherboard though.

Well I noticed that I have 4 slots. every other 1 is a different color. Blue..Black...Blue..Black I have my RAM in the blue slots (starting with closest to the CPU) But windows is saying I only have 1GB and is forgetting about the other 512.
