i suck at oc'ing ram
whenever i try to lower the timings on my ram, my pc wont post and i have to reset bios. any ideas? i was able to get it from 5-5-5-18-2T to 5-4-5-8-2T once, but it then crashed later.

what voltage are you running the RAM at? you probably have to increase it...

hmm...I was thinking you had it at stock or something...maybe can't push it much further...
__________________edit: although, stock for that ram is 1.9v...weird that it can't run faster

The problem is the 8. Should be more like 10.

heh ei dont know much about ddr2, but i knwo this memory i have is stable easy at 500 mhz with 2.5-3-3-4
could probobly get some of it lower ^.^

see, your RAM can run at 4-4-4-12 at 2.1v...somethings wierd if you're at 2.1v and can't get it lower than 5's @800 MHz...
