Default ram timings are holding me back!

I know nothing about memmory at all. I dont know how to lose or tighten them. I cant get 2.9 stable sometimes.. SO i need to know what to do .. Any suggestions please post.. I want to be able to bench 2.9ghz.. Anyway look in my sig for what i was at and what my timings are at!

Yeah, thats true.
But what makes you think that its the Timings..
is it orthos stable with looser timings?

If thats the case though - you have to remember.. that the higher the clock on your RAM - the looser your timings have to be to be stable..
Often times, I have declocked my RAM - to get tighter timings.. and seen better performance in BENCHmarks.

My main reasom for asking was some other settings that may hold you back...And that 2.5 is questionable.....Best I had on my OPERTON was with some corsair XMS3500ll pro...I had it stable at ddr555 but I ran it for a test and got it up to DDR590...But it took a lot of tweaking so post that shot if you can...
